Since Nationals, Sporthorse Nationals, and the Salon are coming up in December, I figure I should update you on qualifications and stuff like that.
Basically, this is very simple. You must have earned a top 5/8/10 in the division you wish to show in. This year I have decided the international shows WILL qualify for both U.S. and the Salon, and vice versa. Any regional, international, or Scottsdale wins may qualify to the Salon.
The salon is a halter-only show for purebred arabians, just as it is in RL. U.S. Nationals is for purebred and half arabian performance and halter horses. Sporthorse Nationals is a performance and in-hand show for sporthorses that are purebred and half arab. Relatively simple, the AHA strives to be relatively realistic when possible.
Anyways, as an example:
I own Glitter. I would like to show him in 5 year old stallion halter, western pleasure jr. horse, and trail. He was top eight at the Qatar International show in 5 year old stallion halter, and top five in western pleasure jr. horse at Region 7. He may show at nationals in 5 year old stallion halter and western pleasure jr. horse. He may show at the Salon in 5 year old stallions. He may not show in trail, as he did not earn any wins to qualify him for it.
In future nationals, any prior national champion is qualified for life in that division. Prior reserves and top tens are qualified for the next year.
Pretty easy. Any questions, just post! I don't bite ;D

Question!!!
Okay, since my stallion Tampireen Bey got Ch at All-Nations Cup, as did Sadik Al Baameez, and my other stallion G Al Ahmen Aadeed.
Then in Towerland UK Tampireen got another Ch, and Sadik Al Baameez got RCh, they can qualify for Salon right since they were both Regional shows? So they can't qualify for Nationals as they weren't in Scottsdale or any of the National shows right?!

Wrong, LOL.
A champion in any regional or qualifying show enables you to go to nationals AND/OR worlds in that class. All of the above horses are qualified.
