Congratulations to all who made top ten or better. These show results were produced by using www.randomizer.org. I know it took me awhile but I've been sooooo insanely busy so I hope you'll forgive me Also, if you'll notice in the entry thread for this show, I may have edited your post. Don't worry, you're not in trouble, just wanted to clean out the most classic entries to more easily wade through the massive number of entries I received;)

For those of you who are unfamiliar with your typical (especially higher level) Arabian shows, here's a breakdown. You take half of the class (rounded up for odd numbers). This number cannot exceed 10 (so if there are 21 horses in the class, you give out a top ten to eight of those horses, a reserve championship, and the championship for a total of ten). For other shows, it might be a top eight (meaning the number cannot exceed 8 total). With classes with say, 10 entries, you'd take 5 total-3 have a top ten, the other a reserve, and the other a championship. If there are 2 entries in the class you name only the champion. Commentary-2005 Qatar International Show

A beautiful night shone with stars on a brisk Saturday afternoon. Doha welcomed its guests, and the show began. Doha showed what it really had to offer, when farms from all over the world attended with their fine Arabians. There were too many champions to list here, so this writer will attend only to the colt/filly, senior, and junior championships.

After a superb showing in the yearling fillies class, a very mature-looking KC Simeon Marada strutted in the ring to capture the title of champion filly. She won out by only a pinch in this writers opinion over Azja Bey, a lovely Polish & Crabbet-bred entrant owned by Red Raven Farms.

Next was the colt championship. This was a fine a class as the author has recently seen. It was a deep class, with a lot of style, and she doesn't envy the judges for having to pick! The winner was Carnival of Souls, a really nice colt owned by Vikki of Chimaera Acres. There were several that this writer felt 'got away' in this class, but in addition, the reserve horse, a stunning grey *Ali Jamaal son, Khaled el Jamaal was a clear choice for either of the top spots. This class provided some very interesting glimpses of what is to come in future competition.

One of the best classes of the day was the Junior Mares. A very fine class, *Janan, an exotic mare from Australia trotted away with the win, and in this writer's opinion, was very well deserved. Not to take away from Encantata, the reserve, whose flamboyant style didn't suit the judge on that particular Saturday-however, her quality was undeniable.

Not to be bested, the Junior Stallions enthusiastically played out on the end of their handler's leads-in fact, the author wonders how they can possibly stay on their feet in the trot off! The brilliant Pisces was the obvious winner with his great movement-and his attempting to take the judge's cards certainly garnered several laughs (including a giggle from the author which caused her to spill Coca-Cola on her khakis!). All was not lost when the charismatic chestnut Ryazan played up enough for the reserve.

Certainly the most awaited classes of the show, the senior championships began at the late hour on 10:00 pm-but as always the spectators were filling the stands, several persons deep. The exotic and well-built older stallion, Sondal, was a definite crowd favorite-so much so they clamored for an encore of his trot pass! However, Premiere FA, a National-winner in the U.S. was not to be bested, and took home the rose garland for that class. The author must take a moment to brag, as she bred and currently owns Premiere, though he was shown by Callabrook Arabian to his senior Championship!
