Hey, I've been puzzling this over for a while, but so far I'm still confused: what exactly makes a horse a purebred Sheykh Obeyd? I know that such horses trace all ancestors back to the Sheykh Obeyd Stud, but it's kinda hard trying to decipher the lines, lol The reason for this is that I'm looking for a pure Sheykh Obeyd mare to cross my stallion Sondal to. Sondal is a purebred Sheykh Obeyd, and from what I know it's an extremely rare line, so I'm not sure how easy it'll be to find a mare of his kind on Sim. But I'll appreciate any advice on how to identify a Sheykh Obeyd. ;D Thanks!

Wow, hey thanks soooo much Aquarius!! Those sites have been a tremendous help so far. It's interesting: Sheykh Obeyds are supposed to be the purest of Arabian horses, but they're also mostly SEAs, and I've heard somewhere that SEAs are not the purest of Arabian lines lol, anyhow, thanks again!! ;D

No line is truly the "purest".

**sighs** I suppose you're right. The Arbian as a breed evolved over thousands of years; it's gonna be really hard to even define "pure" any more. But anyhow, thanks! ;D
