I was just wondering what everyone does in their spare time?
I enjoy dog mushing, horseback riding, hockey, reading and attemping to learn foreign languages. I haven't started to learn any new languages yet, but I'm looking forward to it!! I want to learn French and Norwegian. I like to read all kinds of books. I have read a lot of horse books, several other kinds of books(sci-fi, fantasy, and many others)
Recently I have read Inkheart, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Left Behind, Tribulation Force, and I am almost done with Nicolae. I really like the Left Behind series, I can't wait to finish it!!
Well, just wondering what everyone doeswhen they aren't on the computer!!

Photography is my main hobby Besides the horses and simming of course...I have a Canon Rebel T2 35mm. Yes, I still use film. I prefer black and white and have developed my own film. I don't do it real often though as it's quite time consuming... I like to read also (but once again..finding time to do so...lol). Also like music. Definitely my second passion in life after the horses. I'm mostly into classic rock and old punk at the moment.

Music...that's another one of my hobbies:) I mostly listen to Christain music, but I do own a bunch of Country CD's, too. Klove is the station me and my family has on all the time(all day, at home or in the truck)
I also like photograpy, too. I would like to take a class sometime. I had fun last month taking pictures at the state high school hockey turnament. Not too many worked, however. I think we have a setting messed up on our camera. We just got a new digital, so we are still figuring it out:) Our camera is really nice, it dose sepia and black & white(as well as color) It is one of the Kodak ones, I think it is a 6.1 megapixel. So far it has worked good, besides at the one ice rink.
That is really cool that you know how to develop your own film! And yay, someone else who likes film, not digital!!! I don't mind the digital, but i perfer the film cameras.

I love fantasy roleplay, and do it as often as possible. I play pen-and-paper Dungeons and Dragons, however our group can't get together too often but we play when we can. We're currently half way through a home-written campaign where I'm playing a paladin - the party's lead fighter and healer. Playing a paladin also means I get two awesomely shiny horses. I've also recently started playing Multi-user Dungeons on the 'net. If you didn't guess, I love fantasy (and sci-fi) and read loads (when I should be doing homework). I recently read The Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore, staring Drizzt Do'Urden (*eeek*), which was wonderful and am currently reading The Ancient Future Trilogy by Traci Harding (which is very wierd but entertaining). Humm... I think I may have blabed on long enough. ^_^

I read a lot, mostly crime novels by Scandinavian authors. I also love photography. Currently I have Sony DSC-P92 (5 mpx) and Olympus C310 (3 mpx) but I'm planning to buy an SLR camera (Nikon D50 kit) this summer. I can hardly wait I do a bit of graphics like this: www.vaskitsa.net/sivut/kuvat/grafiikat/mustaori.jpg but not as much as I'd really like to. It takes a lot of time, energy and patience - and I lack all those three

Are those programs like a computer disks that you buy? We may have Photoshop on our computer, but not Adobe Illustrator.
Thanks for telling me what you use! I will look into those programs and see if I might like them!!

Yep, both are from disks. If you do have Photoshop, here's an example done only with Photoshop: www.vaskitsa.net/sivut/kuvat/grafiikat/mustaarabi02.jpg - Well, the curly hair was added later with a special filter program. Other than that, it's done by Photoshop, version CS (8).

Wow, you are a real artist!! That is really cool! Is Photoshop really expensive? Can you just edit photos on it and do just general editing/creating? I am looking for a really good photo editing program that can edit the photos really well(professional, well close, quaility) I am not a professional photgraper, but I really like it:) I took 100+ pictures at a dog race over the weekend!
